It is to note that the total cost of implementation of the Bangabandhu Satellite-1 project is Tk 2,990 crore. Of this, Tk 1,544 crore given from the government fund. And HSBC Bank is giving Taka 1,358 crore as loan to the rest.

There will be a total of 40 transponders of Bangabandhu satellite. Of these 20 transponders will keep for use in Bangladesh. The remaining 20 transponders will keep for sale to any foreign company.

These artificial satellites will provide 40 types of services including satellite television channels, Internet service providers, V-sat, and radio. If the natural disaster affected by the tertiary infrastructures Bangabandhu Satellite will ensure the continuous communication system throughout the country, e-services as the environment communication medium.
