Pixel 2 And Pixel 2 XL MMS Issues:

The Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL is one of the highest rated smartphones. Both Smartphones have had various issues. There was the burn-in problem with the screen, receivers that were cutting out while phone calls, tap sounds that came from the device’s speakers, and the failure to download or receive an MMS message on both phones. The company claims to have fixed the latter issue, although several purchasers of the 2017 Pixel phone disagree.

In the Google Product Forums for the Pixel 2 XL, a company employee named Pankaj Kanwar. He was representing the Pixel team. In a post, he said, “Thanks to all for telling this problem. It should now be fixed. Please let us know if you continue to find the issue.” Many of those who replied to his comment said that they are still facing the similar failure to receive MMS messages. A few users can’t even send such a message on their Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL device.

AT&T Network:

Based on the posts that we see, it looks that this problem is touching those who are clients of AT&T or the latter’s pre-paid Cricket service which uses the AT&T network. There is a workaround for those who haven’t been treated by company’s fix. This involves crippling the “Enhanced 4G LTE Mode” by going to Settings. Then go to Network & Internet. After that you see Mobile network tap on it. Then choose Advanced.

Even if the workaround does provide Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL peoples to view their MMS messages, it shouldn’t stop them from reporting to their carrier and to the company about having to disable the Enhanced 4G LTE Mode. Finally, the company says that the pixel device MMS problem has been solved, but still many people are facing this problem.
